With over 20 years of manufacturing POP plastic profile extrusions, RDC/Cytex has compiled a library of over 2,000 extrusions, hundreds of coextrusions and a wealth of experience in creative retail solutions. As we are the manufacturer, there is no chance of miscommunication occuring as you are not dealing with any middle man. There is no time delay caused by waiting for the middle man to contact their vendor. You are dealing direct!
The following is a brief glossary of definitions explaining the different profile extrusions in layman’s terms. The corresponding images provide a diagram of a very basic example.

C-Channel - Easily attaches to shelving, fixtures and displays to create changeable custom signing. When viewed from the side, resembles the letter 'C'.
H-Channel -Channel extrusion used as a joining strip to attach other extrusions or sign inserts to create custom signage. Generally attaches to fixtures with adhesive.
J-Channel - Presents a 'finished' edge in combination with other extruded elements to create custom POP signage. Attaches to fixtures with adhesive in most instances.
R-Channel & R-Clip - Generally attaches with adhesive and when viewed from the side, resembles the letter 'R'.
U-Channel - Used for quick and easy fabrication of custom signage, edge protecters and often combined with other extruded elements for POP signage. Most often attached to fixtures with adhesive.
Card Holder - Presents product and pricing information in an organized and flexible manner. As a general rule, inserts are larger than 2.5 inches in height.
Ticket Holder - Presents product and pricing information in an organized and flexible manner. As a general rule, inserts are less than 2.5 inches in height.
Sign Board or Panel - Defines a larger extrusion generally holding an insert of more than 10 inches in height. Often used for larger signs holding message inserts and numeral spiral or accordian pads.
Adapter - Attaches a card or ticket holder to a shelf or store fixture i.e. clip in shelf edge or slatwalls.
Gripper (GreatGrabber) - 'Grips' or holds material up to .080" thick while adhering to flat surfaces with adhesive or clip on wire shelves.
Closed Face Part - Protects and encloses the insert or ticket with clear plastic.
Open Face Part - Has no plastic material covering the ticket or insert. Similar to a C-Channel design.
